Stephen Ryan raising money for The Institute of Cancer Research

Temple Legal Protection are proud to be sponsoring our IT and Marketing Assistant, Stephen Ryan who will be taking part in numerous events to raise money for The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) finishing with the London Marathon in 2022.

ICR is one of the world’s most influential cancer research organisations with an outstanding record of achievement dating back more than 100 years.

This cause is very close to Stephen’s heart and he is raising money to give something back for the treatment and support that has been provided to family members and friends.

Stephen will be conducting various fundraising activities including:

  • Cycle to work – giving up the train and donating the fare to charity while cycling into work for a 12 week period, covering 1000 miles.
  • Charity cake bake
  • Charity Raffle – Prizes have been donated by numerous organisations with special thanks to Experience Days for donating a £50 experience voucher.

The events Stephen will be taking part in are as follows:

  • Great south run – October 2019
  • Bath half – March 2020
  • Reading half marathon – November 2021
  • Brighton marathon – April 2022
  • London marathon – April 2022

Stephen Ryan

In his role as the company’s IT and Marketing Assistant, Steve is at the heart of two key disciplines. This combination of skills means that he takes a pragmatic and realistic approach to his IT work whilst also developing his creative skills implementing the agreed marketing and business development projects.

Steve has a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Portsmouth and joined Temple in July 2016. He has a wealth of experience in website development, project management and knowledge of the insurance industry.

His IT role, involves providing IT support to users while also ensuring the business systems are running smoothly. For the marketing activities Steve works closely with the Underwriting departments and external agencies. He takes a ‘hands on’ approach and has been involved in a number of significant projects include the ongoing implementation of the company’s promotional activities, refining and enhancing the Temple corporate identity, designing new literature and the implementation of targeted business development plans with his colleagues.

A particular focus of Steve’s attention is the maintenance and development of the company websites and other online marketing activities including preparing the highly-regarded regular e-newsletters from the Underwriting departments and online advertising campaigns.
