Temple signs up to Queen Elizabeth Foundation Team 90 Challenge

Imagine a world where everyone, regardless of their physical or neurological challenges, has the opportunity to live a fulfilling and independent life. For many individuals, this vision feels out of reach—but that is where the Queen Elizabeth Foundation (QEF) steps in, turning aspirations into reality. With a legacy over 90 years of empowering people with disabilities, QEF has become a beacon of hope and transformation.

Through their innovative programs and dedicated care, QEF not only addresses the practical needs of individuals but also restores a sense of dignity and confidence. Whether it’s providing life-changing neurorehabilitation or creating bespoke mobility solutions, QEF plays a vital role in helping individuals reclaim their independence and rediscover joy in everyday moments.

QEF can offer invaluable support for law firms handling personal injury cases, particularly for clients recovering from brain injuries or dealing with physical disabilities. Here’s how QEF can assist:

1. Neuro-Rehabilitation Services: QEF provides expert neurorehabilitation to help clients regain core skills and independence after an acquired brain injury or neurological illness. This can be a critical part of a personal injury claim, demonstrating the long-term care and recovery process.

2. Mobility Solutions: They offer bespoke mobility assessments and assistive equipment, ensuring clients have the tools they need to navigate their daily lives. This can be essential for cases involving mobility impairments.

3. Legal Information Service: QEF has partnered with selected legal service providers to offer specialist advice and guidance for clients facing complex legal, financial, and welfare issues. This includes support for compensation claims and understanding employment right.

4. Holistic Support: Their person-centred approach ensures that clients receive tailored care, addressing both their physical and emotional needs. This can strengthen a law firm’s case by highlighting comprehensive rehabilitation efforts.

5. Collaboration Opportunities: QEF actively works with case managers, referrers, and specialists in personal injury and medical negligence, making them a valuable partner for law firms seeking expert support for their clients.

Temple Legal Protection have been supporting QEF for several years and is proud to be involved in their 90th anniversary celebrations and events. We have signed up to the QEF Team 90 challenge which aims to raise significant sums for the charity this year. The aim to persuade 30 corporates to sign up to the challenge to raise a minimum of £3000 each. This would produce a guaranteed total of £90,000 which would allow QEF to maximise their supportive activities.

If your firm or organisation is reviewing its charitable partnerships, can I urge you to consider supporting the QEF Team 90 challenge or contact QEF to find out more about how they can assist your personally injured clients and assisting the charity in other ways.

Join us in supporting QEF in their 90 years celebrations and let us make sure they have sufficient funds to continue for the next 90 years and more.

QEF are hoping to organise some open days and if you would be interested in attending and learning more about the services they can offer don’t hesitate to get in touch with Clare Bugler, QEFs Head of Business Development and Commissioning her email address is
