Sean started his insurance career in 1994 and has been specifically involved in Legal Expenses since 1997. Over a long career specialising in legal expenses, he has worked as an underwriter, sales executive and relationship manager.
His experience of underwriting a variety of commercial and personal, stand alone and schemes accounts means that our customers have the benefit of his broad knowledge.
As a relationship manager, Sean has a strong focus on customer service and a desire to get the best outcomes for our clients and works closely with our business partners to achieve this.
Sean’s extensive knowledge of the legal expenses market helps to support Temple Legal Protection as a market leader for BTE & ATE insurance.
Sarah Steer

Sarah joined the insurance industry in 2013 as an account executive for a national insurance broker, and has over 10 years’ experience in the account management and development area.
While developing extensive knowledge of working with customers, from large corporates, associations and affinity groups, to personal lines and high net worth customers, Sarah had the opportunity to grow deep relationships with underwriters across a number of insurance providers.
Sarah takes great job satisfaction in building strong relationships with clients and business partners and has experience of working with a wide range of insurance products, in the personal lines and commercial sectors.
Joining Temple Legal Protection as a Legal Expenses Development Manager, helping Temple’s ethos of providing a high level of customer service, Sarah provides support internally and externally, assisting with on-boarding and policy distribution, through to external visits and account reviews. Sarah’s aim is to ease the process from the beginning and throughout the insurance journey.
Lewis Fayle

Lewis is an Account Handler in the BTE team, having joined Temple in 2024. He brings a fresh perspective to the industry, having recently completed his A-levels and gaining valuable hands-on experience through a work placement at Temple prior to his full-time role.
Lewis' dedication to learning and professional growth is reflected in his proactive approach to his responsibilities at Temple. As he continues to gain experience, he aims to contribute to the team’s success while honing his skills to become a more knowledgeable and effective account handler.
Emma Steer

Emma Steer is an Account Handler in the BTE team, having joined Temple in 2025. She brings fresh insight and enthusiasm to the role, underpinned by her strong academic background. Emma recently completed her Bachelor of Science degree with honours, where she developed valuable organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Alongside her studies, Emma gained experience in customer-facing roles, where she built confidence in communication and developed a genuine passion for working with clients. She enjoys engaging with people, understanding their needs, and building positive relationships — skills that she brings to her role at Temple.
Emma is dedicated to continuous learning and professional development. She takes a proactive approach to her responsibilities and is committed to further growing her knowledge and capabilities as she works towards becoming a well-rounded and effective account handler.
