Michael Lent

Underwriting Director

Michael has spent over 30 years as a solicitor specialising in civil litigation before joining Temple. He was a partner at both Hammonds and Bond Pearce. The majority of his time has been spent defending a wide range of professional liability claims.  In addition he has been involved extensively in other commercial litigation and arbitration for both claimants and defendants. He also advised insurers on policy liability issues as well as drafting insurance policies.

As a result he brings a career’s worth of litigation experience to Temple’s customers in respect of understanding and underwriting litigation, together with a thorough knowledge of the issues that confront commercial litigation practitioners.

Michael’s experience and calibre is a key factor in enabling Temple to meet our commitment to provide excellent service to commercial litigation solicitors and their clients.
